Our Open House is on Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00. Meet Mrs. Henry, our new fourth-grade teacher!! Mrs. Henry is a familiar face to Young Elementary (aka Ms. Hebert). She was a fifth-grade teacher at Young a few years ago. After getting married, she has returned to NWA, and we are so excited to have her back in our Yellowjacket family.
We are so excited to have Nurse Brandie at Young Elementary School. Stop by and meet her at the Open House on August 6th.
Thursday is our last Summer STEAM day. Drop in the library between 9-11 for some STEAM fun. This week we will have the Workbench Collective joining us!

Two fun things this week- Summer Skate Night is Tuesday from 6-8 at Roller City ($5). Summer STEAM is Thursday (drop-in) from 9-11. Enter through the library on the west side of BYE (experiments, arts, building). Please plan to stay with your child- these events are not drop-off.

It looks like rain is moving into the area this afternoon. To ensure that all students get a chance to participate in field day, we will be adjusting the times for 2nd and 3rd grades. Thank you for understanding.

Thursday is our field day! If you plan to attend, sign up to Volunteer! If you pre-ordered a Field Day shirt, they were sent home today (Wednesday). Sorry for the delay- the printing company lost power, which put them behind.
