Wow! We can't believe it is already halfway through the summer. School supplies are starting to hit the shelves. Please note the optional supplies are for the STEAM room. If you need assistance with supplies, please email the school counselor, Mrs. Nelson (anelson3@sdale.org).

Extended Deadline!
Curtis Leister, a native of Philadelphia, is a Master Naturalist and avid proponent of conservation. Currently, he volunteers for the Illinois Watershed River Partnership, and the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks. He is passionate about nature and wishes to teach the younger generation as much as he can about the beautiful world we live in. Mr. Leister visited with our students last week.
We are soooo close to our new green bench! We need 750 more plastics. Ask your family and friends to donate. Cleaner bottles, over-the-counter medicine pills, yogurt drink containers, WHITE milk contains, cleaning wipe bottles, and detergents are always good to check.
We are almost there!!! The deadline has been extended to next week. If every student brought 2 plastics, we would be finished.
