Hello Walker Parents and Caregivers, Just wanted to remind everyone that today is Wednesday and we dismiss school at 1:50 on Wednesdays. Buses will load after our 1:50 dismissal. All bus riders will be at their scheduled stops between 1:55 and 2:10 today and on all other Wednesdays. Hola padres y cuidadores de Walker, Solo quería recordarles a todos que hoy es miércoles y salimos de la escuela a la 1:50 los miércoles. Los autobuses se cargarán después de nuestra salida a la 1:50. Todos los pasajeros del autobús estarán en sus paradas programadas entre la 1:55 y las 2:10 hoy y todos los demás miércoles.

We are so excited to bring back lunch with grandparents or someone GRAND this year. Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade will be on September 22nd at the following times: Kindergarten 10:45-11:15 2nd Grade 11:15-11:45 4th Grade 11:45-12:15 1st, 3rd and 5th grades will have lunch on September 23rd at the following times: 1st Grade 11:00-11:30 3rd Grade 11:30-12:00 5th Grade 12:00-12:30 The cost of the meal for adults to eat is $4.25 per person. PTA will be taking pictures of grandparents or grands for $1.00 each. We hope to see grandparents or others who are grand join us as we celebrate Grandparent's Day. We will have our book fair open on both days to our visitors and their special Wildcats to shop after lunch. We are looking forward to these special days.

It's time for the 5th Annual Springdale Public Schools Education Foundation Duck Race 202! You can support your favorite teacher or school by buying a duck and donating it to your favorite school or teacher. If your duck is one of the 10 winners of the race, that school or that teacher will receive a $1,000 grant from SPSEF! You can buy a duck by using Venmo to SPS Ed.Foundation @SPSEF or go to www.spsef/duckrace to use your Credit Card, or Paypal. Ducks are $10.00 each. Walker set a school goal to get 25 ducks before the race. We hope you will join at Shiloh Square in downtown Springdale on Saturday, September 24th at 11 am as the ducks race down Spring Creek. If you are waiting in our car line, your vehicle can not block any driveways. It was reported to us that vehicles waiting in the Walker car line were blocking driveways. Please do not block driveways when you are waiting in the car line. Also, make sure to leave space in front of the walker driveway to allow our buses to exit Walker. Arkansas Code 27-51-1302 states that no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic-control device, in any of the following places: in front of a public or private driveway.
