5th Grade Celebration (Parents and Guests)
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow as we celebrate with our 5th grade Hawks! Important: As always, we keep ALL exterior doors locked and ONLY allow visitors to check in the office. This will continue tomorrow. Please park wherever you like, but the only way to enter is through the front. We will have staff and students ready to welcome you. We will give you a sticker to wear and will have a "waiting area" for you until time for the program.
If you have other students at Harp that you'd like to join you, we will call them from class to meet you in the office or waiting area.
Thank you for understanding and patience...we know you'll have a great time celebrating with our 5th grade Hawks.

FIELD DAY - MOVED
Due to expected bad weather, we have made arrangements to move our Field Day to FRIDAY, MAY 27TH. We will be sending home a note about Field Day and some important information for our Hawks to know. Thanks.

Kindergarten Celebration 2022
The house was packed as we celebrated with our 100 Harp Hawk kindergarten students. Thank you to Mrs. Johnson, kindergarten students and teachers for putting on a great performance. We are glad so many grown-ups were there to support our these students as well. Go Hawks!

Senior Walk (5/18) 1:30 sharp!
Kindergarten Celebration (5/19) Doors open at 5:30, program starts at 6:00. We'll have a LOT of folks here to celebrate, and may have some standing room only when we run out of table space. Thank you for your understanding.
5th Grade Celebration (5/26) Begins at 8:45 sharp. (Parents arrive at 8:30). Again, if seating overflows, we'll have standing room only. Thanks for your understanding.

NWA Naturals Ballgame: We had over 100 Harp Hawks on the field to sing "This Land is You Land" and "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" at the Arkansas Naturals game Friday evening. Our very own Lina S. threw out a ceremonial first pitch! Good job, Lina! Thank you to the NWA Naturals for the invitation, Mrs. Johnson for organizing the event, and to our families that were able to attend.
We were very excited to welcome about 600 Harp Hawks to this year's Harp in the Park. We had a lot of fun in the sun, and want to thank Cox Communications for sponsoring the Color Run. That was a blast!!
We'll hope to see you "same time, same place" next year!!

HARP IN THE PARK IS COMING BACK THIS YEAR!!!
One of the most popular family events we have at Harp Elementary is the annual Harp in the Park. We are excited to announce that we WILL be able to hold this event this year. Harp in the Park will be held this Thursday (May 12th) at 5:30. This is held on the large playground in the back of the school. Families usually bring lawn chairs and/or blankets . Concessions, music, and a "special surprise" will be featured. There will be a Color Run as well, with proceeds benefiting the United Way. **More information to come** We are happy to finally get to come together again and see all our families enjoying time together. See you Thursday!!
BUS #188
Parents, we have been told that bus 188 will not be running TOMORROW AFTERNOON (May 10th). We will be sending notes home with the students today as a reminder. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Today was the last day with out 2021-2022 University of Arkansas interns. While we're sad to see them leave us, we know they will do great things on behalf of students and families where ever their journey takes them. Good luck to you all!!!

Champion!
Bradyn won all three heats and then WON THE GOLD in the 80 yard dash to close out the 5th grade Little Olympics. His effort and sportsmanship was outstanding! Awesome job, Bradyn!
