Breakfast and Lunch All Springdale school cafeterias will be serving breakfast at 7:30 a.m. and will serve lunch tomorrow at regular times (10:30 - 12:30). Students may eat for free. However, adult meals are $3.75. Starting on Tuesday, you will be able to drive up to the school and get breakfast or lunch brought to you instead of entering the building. This is called "grab and go" and will be done at selected schools. We'll find out tomorrow what schools will be "grab and go" locations for you to pick up meals. Stay tuned!

No School until March 30th

Springdale Public Schools will be on the Alternate Means of Instruction Plan this week, March 16 - March 20. Students are asked to complete their AMI daily assignments until school resumes. Please click below for lesson plans. https://www.sdale.org/o/springdale-public-schools/page/ami-day

NO SCHOOL STARTING TOMORROW: Please see the message from the District: AMI plan to begin tomorrow morning and run through March 20, 2020. We do anticipate resuming regular instruction March 30, 2020 unless instructed otherwise by state leadership. Although a difficult situation is in front of us, our Springdale family is resilient and strives for excellence in all we do. Springdale Public Schools Student-led conferences scheduled to take place during the week of March 16-20, 2020 are postponed. Information about rescheduling will be available at a later date. Kindergarten registration is continuing as planned beginning tomorrow. Remember, you do not have to come to Harp to do this. Registration is now done online, so just go to the Sdale website or Harp’s website and click on the provided link. If you’d rather use a computer at Harp, you can drop in anytime from 8:00 to 2:00 during the week. Feel free to call our registrar, Mrs. Bohannan, if you have any questions.

UPDATE ON CONFERENCES: We have learned that Student-Led conferences are being POSTPONED next week. The District will be posting more information.

To the Springdale Community, Student and staff health and safety is the number one concern of Springdale Public Schools. Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and Secretary of Education Johnny Key recommend school districts in counties without a presumptive case remain open in order to not disrupt community life, especially meal services for children and health services for all. The CDC guidance on COVID-19 is that short to medium duration school closings are not recommended. The major request is for good judgment be in place for hygiene for all students and staff along with social distancing. Springdale Public Schools will remain open. IMPORTANT (Please share this post) Parents: Every student in Springdale is bringing home a packet of state-approved work today. Students are NOT to do the work in the packet at this time. IF we should have to close our schools for any reason, students will have this packet at home so they can complete work on missed school days. Please put the packet away somewhere safe. Hopefully we'll never need it, but we have sent the packet home just in case. SCHOOL WILL BE OPEN ON MONDAY!! Thanks everyone!

Glow Go Dance has started. $1 per person or $5 per family.

It's almost time!! Family "Go Glow" Dance is this Friday at 5:30. $1 to enter (no more than $5 per family). Glow items and concessions will be sold as well. We hope can all put on your dancing shoes and join us! (NOTE: Only the back doors will be open for this event).

WE NEED YOU! Training for first time volunteers to help translate during Parent/Teacher conferences will be Tuesday, March 3 from 12:00 - 1:00 at the Perry Professional Development Center.
